Coming in April:  From France, The Puppetmaster of Lodz
by Giles Segal, translated by Sara O'Connor.

Samuel Finkelbaum hides in a Berlin boardinghouse, unconvinced that the war has been over for five years. Fearful that he will be sent back to the death camp from which he escaped, this master puppeteer builds a world he can control in the environment of his mind.

He rehearses a grand puppet show to produce when the war ends: The Tragicomic Life of Polish Jew Samuel Finkelbaum, Puppetmaster,
in which he will answer the age old question:  If there is a God why does he allow suffering?

Directed by David Rufffin, Assisted by Gerhard Paulesich,
Tech Director, Rick Blake.
